Freebie Friday winner announced!!!
Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner. Time apparently got away from me. I did receive a subtle reminder last night letting me know that it was Wednesday night.
And so, though better late than never, congratulations to:
And he shall be Levon, and he shall be a good man (Freebie Friday)
I chose today’s Freebie Friday gift over a week ago. It’s only a coincidence, and a strong one, that my turn fell today, April 20.

Freebie Friday: Cassidy!
This is a blog about me giving away a book about a girl who writes a blog and is on her own reality TV show.
Today’s Freebie Friday giveaway is for the ‘Tweens out there! Cassidy Barnett is twelve and her parents are the stars of their own reality TV show. Cassidy’s pretty lucky! She gets to travel everywhere, while at the same time, blogs about her own experiences. I have “Lights, Camera, Cassidy: Episode One: Celebrity” and “Lights, Camera, Cassidy: Episode Two: Paparazzi”. Both books are geared for a fourth grade reading level and up.
The series retails for $6.99 on Amazon per book. We’re giving them away for free to a random winner. Simply reply to my blog, telling me about your thoughts on reality TV. Do you know anyone who has been on a reality TV show? Have you ever been on reality TV? Answer by Tuesday night. To be eligible to win, you must live in the Little Rock vicinity and must be able to pick up the books from our downtown office. I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday.
(To answer the questions for myself, one of my best friends was on season one of “Beauty and the Geek”. His blog can be read here.
I was disappointed to hear that Reed Grimm was sent home from American Idol. His big brother and I went to college together)

Freebie Friday – IDEA ALLEY
For those who aren’t counting, you have about 20 planning days until Thanksgiving! My family and I will not be cooking this year, as we plan to head up to Missouri to visit my husband’s family.
If you are cooking, or like me, just like to cook in general, today’s Freebie might suit your palate! Each Wednesday in our Food section, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette features a recipe in the column Idea Alley. Our Food Editor, Kelly Brant, has been putting this feature together since 2009. Now, she’s weeded through hundreds of recipes and compiled a ‘best of’ book, if you will.
